Indian actor Anil Kapoor could not hold back tears at the recent memorial of his late friend, Satish Kaushik.
Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher hosted a musical night last week to remember his late friend Kaushik on his birth anniversary. Several celebrities graced the event in memory of the late actor.

In a widely circulated video from the event, his dear fellow and the third member of their trio, Anil Kapoor is seen crying profusely, remembering the late actor.
Kher asked Kapoor to join him on stage as he recalled his final conversation with Kaushik. “Come, Anil. Heroes always cry and friends cry. Come,” he said.

The latter got up and walked down the stairs, however, overcome with his emotions, he broke down into tears and refused to continue towards the stage. Upon seeing him get emotional, Kher added, “Anil tu paagal hai. Main theek thaak jaara tha (Anil you are mad. I was doing so well).”
The memorial event included a musical night in addition to stories to celebrate the illustrious life lived by Kaushik.
It is pertinent to mention here that the prominent Indian actor-director Satish Kaushik, 66, passed away after suffering a heart attack last month, his close friend and Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher confirmed.

“He [Kaushik] felt uneasy and he told the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am,” Kher had told the media.
The veteran is survived by his wife and daughter.
